I am a 26 year old female looking for someone, male or female, to move in by April 1st but preferably sooner. I live in a great neighborhood in the Greenpoint- Williamsburg area, right near McGolrick Park. It is within a few blocks of a grocery store, a soon to be pharmacy, dry cleaners, Staples, laundromat, a beautiful park, and a good neighborhood bar with a pool table. There are plenty of restaurants and nightlife nearby but the block itself is very quiet. The room is about 9 feet by 14 feet with wood floors and opens onto a nice sized sunny living room and a good sized kitchen. There is plenty of room for a bike in the hallway and there is also plenty of storage space in the basement. The apartment is about 10-15 minutes from the Nassau stop on the G train and the Graham stop on the L train respectively but there is also bus right outside that will take you to both trains.
The apartment is fully furnished, except for the room I am renting. There is a flat screen TV in the living room and kitchen is fully equipped. I work full time and go to law school so I am not home much during the week. I am very flexible and laid back and am looking for someone with a similar lifestyle. I'm outgoing and hope to find a roommate I can hang out with, who will feel at home here.
I also have two cats. The rent is $760 with a one month deposit as well. I am looking for someone who is willing to make a one year commitment. Also the landlord would like to do a credit check on whoever moves in.
