Room for rent in 3 bedroom apartment in Cobble Hill Brooklyn. The room is large, hardwood floors, includes a closet and a great view of lower Manhattan. The apartment is located a short walk (about 8 min) from the F/G lines, and is about a 10-15 minute walk from the R/4/5/2/3 trains. The B61 bus stops directly in front of the apartment as well. The neighborhood is family orientated, quiet, and safe, and its just a quick walk to Court, Smith or Atlantic street for shopping, restaurants and bars. The landlord and her family live downstairs and take good care of us and the building. The monthly bills for gas and electric are usually within the $60-80 range depending on season. We also have a washer/dryer in the apartment. We are looking for someone in their late 20's to mid 30's who can pay their rent and bills on time, is respectful of the space and those that live there, and can clean up behind themselves without prompting. Both of us here are professionals (social work and art therapy) and work long crazy hours. We like home to be a home-occasional dinner parties or mischief and rowdiness, but no big shindigs or live in boyfriends. Sadly, no pets because of allergies.
